Take a Tour of Meadow Creek Welding
Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of our shop where we build our BBQ smokers, grills, and roasters.
Dad was an inventor, and he liked to build things. So when a neighbor asked for a custom pig roaster, Dad welded one up in the little metal shop on his farm outside New Holland, PA.
The buyer cooked on it, loved it, and spread the word. Other lovers of fire and meat started begging for cookers of their own.
Things have changed since that first pig roaster rolled out of Dad’s shop more than four decades ago. Now Meadow Creek equipment is built in a bigger shop by a skilled crew of full-time craftsmen instead of one farmer in his spare time.
Today Meadow Creek’s matchless workmanship, thoughtful design, durability, and knockout visual appeal are adding clout to the reputations of barbecue pros and enthusiasts around the globe.
But some things haven’t changed.
Meadow Creek is still a hands-on, family-run shop, not a gleaming factory with robot welders humming while their human minders play Solitaire behind big glass windows. That’s one reason for the sharp looks, superior fit and finish, and excellent performance of Meadow Creek equipment.
Every cut, every weld, every curve and corner on a Meadow Creek cooker is crafted by a set of experienced human hands. Every vent, latch, and handle is placed by a worker with dirty clothes and a trained eye for detail.
Take our virtual shop tour above and watch this gritty, manual process for yourself.

"Cooks like a dream!"
When I decided to start selling BBQ, I researched for about 6 months and fell in love with the Meadow Creek TS250 w/chicken box.
I absolutely love my Meadow Creek TS250 with BBQ42. Once I put my ribs in, I only open to spray them down twice. My chicken box cooks like a dream! When it's time to turn the chicken, it's as easy as a flip of my wrist. I don't have to stand over the heat to flip each one like most people in my area.
What's really funny is when guys see my RIG, their mouths drool about it as much as the ribs and chicken that are being cooked. LOL.
Hope you enjoy some of the pictures I sent to you. In my opinion, Meadow Creek Smokers are simply the BEST!

Who Is Meadow Creek For?
Meadow Creek Is for People Who Like to Play With Fire
Most Meadow Creek barbecue smokers and grills are charcoal and wood fired, so as a rule, Meadow Creek is for people who like to play with fire. Gas and electric are fine ways of cooking, but generally what you use when you need automation and push button performance—or don’t have time or the desire to play with fire.
We often talk about the excellent performance of Meadow Creek’s offset smokers and how well they hold a consistent temperature, but this is in reference to charcoal and wood burners in general. You’ll still need to tend the fire, adding fuel to keep it on track as it burns down, and your fire will die out if neglected. After the cook, you’ll have ashes to clean out of your firebox.
But for those of us who love to play with fire—who find meaning and fulfillment in keeping watch over the firebox—it’s just a part of what we do.
Meadow Creek Is for People Who Love the Cooking Experience
If all you want is the "eating experience", meaning you "cook because you have to" in order to enjoy good barbecue, do yourself a favor and buy a pellet smoker with a digital thermostat or something else congruent with modern living. There’s no shame in that. But if you find joy in mastering the perfect balance of draft and fuel, Meadow Creek is an awesome choice.
Meadow Creek Is for People Who Appreciate Integrity
Meadow Creek is founded on honesty and the Golden Rule: "Do to others what you wish they would do to you." When something goes wrong, we try to go the extra mile to take care of our customers.
Meadow Creek Is for People Who Expect Excellence
Not quality as in a lame cliche, but the real thing. Meadow Creek cookers are handmade in New Holland, PA by talented craftsmen who are satisfied with nothing less than excellence. The heavy steel construction, smooth welds, handsome designs, and amazing performance are all part of the quality you can expect with Meadow Creek.
